MW-TELL Project
The MW-TELL Project intends to promote access to mobile-supported training services for the provision of on-demand Lifelong Language Learning, beyond time and place restrictions. Join the MW-TELL educational community and explore new ways of teaching and learning foreign languages!!!
The MW-TELL Project Main Objectives are:
-Set up and maintain of a European Web Repository of Digital Resources and Courses suitable for Technology-Enhanced Language Learning, facilitated by PDAs and Smartphones Devices.
-Design of a set of reference mobile Training Strategies, as best practice examples for Technology-enhanced English Language Learning.
-Exploit Tools that implement the state-of-the-art learning technologies to deal with the special requirements of mobile-supported vocational training, facilitating the development and delivery of training courses for English Language Learning through PDAs and Smartphones Devices.
MW-TELL Repository
The MW-TELL Project offers a repository which contains educational material in the form of training resources (presentations, exercises, graphs, self-assessments, lectures) and of training courses (structured short courses organized according to specific training scenarios that are based on well-known pedagogical models). Users can search for educational materials in the Search Resources and Search Courses sections or to upload their own materials to the MW-TELL Repository, using the Share your Content section.
MW-TELL Services and Tools
The MW-TELL Project has developed all the necessary tools and services, in order to prepare your content for the MW-TELL Repository. Using the MW-TELL Metadata Authoring Toolkit you can prepare your educational materials for the MW-TELL Repository, adding the necessary tags, while using the MW-TELL Courses Authoring Toolkit you can design your short courses according to specific pedagogical models (following the IMS Learning Design Specification). Finally, using the MW-TELL Courses PDA and Smartphones Player you can deliver your courses to your learners/students.
